विद्यते कुसुमं तन्न यन्नैव शिववल्लभम्॥ चंपकं केतकं हित्वा त्वन्यत्सर्वं समर्पयेत् ॥ ३६॥
Excepting the Campaka and the Ketaka there is no flower which does not appeal to Śiva. All other flowers can be used for worshipping Him.
english translation
vidyate kusumaM tanna yannaiva zivavallabham॥ caMpakaM ketakaM hitvA tvanyatsarvaM samarpayet ॥ 36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतः परं च धान्यानां पूजने शंकरस्य च ॥ प्रमाणं च फलं सर्वं प्रीत्या शृणु च सत्तम ॥ ३७ ॥
Now, O excellent one, listen to the quantity of and the benefit accruing from grains and pulses in their use for worship of Śiva.
english translation
ataH paraM ca dhAnyAnAM pUjane zaMkarasya ca ॥ pramANaM ca phalaM sarvaM prItyA zRNu ca sattama ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतंदुलारोपणे नॄणां लक्ष्मी वृद्धिः प्रजायते ॥ अखण्डितविधौ विप्र सम्यग्भक्त्या शिवोपरि ॥३८॥
By offering rice grains during worship, people attain an increase in wealth and prosperity (Lakṣmī). O learned one (vipra), when this offering is made upon Lord Shiva with unbroken (continuous) procedure and with true devotion, it yields auspicious results.
english translation
taMdulAropaNe nRRNAM lakSmI vRddhiH prajAyate ॥ akhaNDitavidhau vipra samyagbhaktyA zivopari ॥38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptषट्केनैव तु प्रस्थानां तदर्धेन तथा पुनः ॥ पलद्वयं तथा लक्षमानेन समदाहृतम् ॥३९॥
Six prasthas (a traditional unit of measurement) are considered as the standard measure, or even half of that is acceptable. Likewise, two palas (a smaller unit of weight) are also included — all these together constitute the proper measure for one laksha (100,000) offering, as prescribed in the scriptures.

SaTkenaiva tu prasthAnAM tadardhena tathA punaH ॥ paladvayaM tathA lakSamAnena samadAhRtam ॥39॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूजां रुद्रप्रधानेन कृत्वा वस्त्रं सुसुन्दरम् ॥ शिवोपरि न्यसेत्तत्र तंदुलार्पणमुत्तमम् ॥2-1-14-४०
Worship of Rudra shall be performed at first and a fine cloth shall be spread over the liṅga. The rice grains shall be put over the cloth at the time of worship.

pUjAM rudrapradhAnena kRtvA vastraM susundaram ॥ zivopari nyasettatra taMdulArpaNamuttamam ॥2-1-14-40
