षट्केनैव तु प्रस्थानां तदर्धेन तथा पुनः ।। पलद्वयं तथा लक्षमानेन समदाहृतम् ।।३९।।

sanskrit

Six prasthas (a traditional unit of measurement) are considered as the standard measure, or even half of that is acceptable. Likewise, two palas (a smaller unit of weight) are also included — all these together constitute the proper measure for one laksha (100,000) offering, as prescribed in the scriptures.

english translation

SaTkenaiva tu prasthAnAM tadardhena tathA punaH || paladvayaM tathA lakSamAnena samadAhRtam ||39||
