देवसैन्यं च तत्सर्वं विष्णुना चक्रिणा सह ॥ समुत्सवं महत्कृत्वा शिवस्यानुजगाम ह ॥ ६६ ॥
The entire army of the gods along with the discusbearing Viṣṇu shouted in jubilation and followed Śiva.
english translation
एतस्मिन्नंतरे भक्त्या नमस्कृत्य महेश्वरम् ॥ अब्रवीन्नारद त्वं वै देवदेवं कृतांजलिः॥६७॥
In the meantime, bowing to Śiva, the lord of the gods with palms joined in reverence, O Nārada, you spoke as follows.

नारद उवाच ॥ देवदेव महादेव शृणु मद्वचनं विभो॥ त्वमेव सर्वगस्स्वामी नानालीलाविशारदः॥।६८॥
Nārada said: O lord of the gods, please listen to my words. You are the all-pervading lord and expert in various sports.
english translation
त्वया कृत्वा महालीलां गणगर्वोऽपहारितः ॥ अस्मै दत्त्वा बलं भूरि देवगर्वश्च शंकर॥६९॥
By indulging in a great sport, the arrogance of the Gaṇas has been removed by you. O Śaṅkara, the impudence of the gods too has been removed by giving this (Gaṇeśa) much strength.
english translation
दर्शितं भुवने नाथ स्वमेव बलमद्भुतम्॥ स्वतंत्रेण त्वया शंभो सर्वगर्वप्रहारिणा ॥ 2-4-15-७० ॥
O lord Śiva, your own wonderful strength has been known to the worlds, you who independently remove the haughtiness of everyone.
