अर्पणीयं च विविधं शिवाय परया मुदा ॥ ततो धूपं प्रकर्तव्यो गुग्गुलागुरुभिर्मुदा ॥६६॥
Various offerings should be made to Lord Shiva with great joy and devotion. Then, incense should be prepared and offered, using guggul and agarwood with delight.
english translation
arpaNIyaM ca vividhaM zivAya parayA mudA ॥ tato dhUpaM prakartavyo guggulAgurubhirmudA ॥66॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदीपो देयस्ततस्तस्मै शंकराय घृतप्लुतः ॥ अर्घं दद्यात्पुनस्तस्मै मंत्रेणानेन भक्तितः ॥६७॥
After that, an oil lamp should be offered to Lord Shiva, bathed in ghee. Then, an offering of water (Arghya) should be given to him with the proper mantra, in a spirit of devotion.
english translation
dIpo deyastatastasmai zaMkarAya ghRtaplutaH ॥ arghaM dadyAtpunastasmai maMtreNAnena bhaktitaH ॥67॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकारयेद्भावतो भक्त्या वस्त्रेण मुखमार्जनम् ॥ रूपं देहि यशो देहि भोगं देहि च शंकर॥६८॥
With devotion, one should cleanse the face with a cloth and offer it to Shiva. Grant me beauty, fame, and pleasures, O Shankar.
english translation
kArayedbhAvato bhaktyA vastreNa mukhamArjanam ॥ rUpaM dehi yazo dehi bhogaM dehi ca zaMkara॥68॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभुक्तिमुक्तिफलं देहि गृहीत्वार्घं नमोस्तु ते॥ ततो देयं शिवायैव नैवेद्यं विविधं शुभम्॥६९॥
Grant me the fruits of worldly enjoyment and liberation (bhukti and mukti). After receiving your offering of water (Arghya), I bow to you. Then, offer a variety of food offerings (Nivedya) to Lord Shiva.
english translation
bhuktimuktiphalaM dehi gRhItvArghaM namostu te॥ tato deyaM zivAyaiva naivedyaM vividhaM zubham॥69॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत आचमनं प्रीत्या कारयेद्वा विलम्बतः ॥ ततश्शिवाय ताम्बूलं सांगोपाङ्गं विधाय च ॥2-1-13-७०॥
Then, with great joy, the devotee should perform the Achamana (ritualistic sipping of water) with devotion. Following this, offer betel leaves and nuts to Lord Shiva along with other accompaniments.

tata AcamanaM prItyA kArayedvA vilambataH ॥ tatazzivAya tAmbUlaM sAMgopAGgaM vidhAya ca ॥2-1-13-70॥
