तत आचमनं प्रीत्या कारयेद्वा विलम्बतः ॥ ततश्शिवाय ताम्बूलं सांगोपाङ्गं विधाय च ॥2-1-13-७०॥
Then, with great joy, the devotee should perform the Achamana (ritualistic sipping of water) with devotion. Following this, offer betel leaves and nuts to Lord Shiva along with other accompaniments.
