अ॒ञ्जते॒ व्य॑ञ्जते॒ सम॑ञ्जते॒ क्रतुं॑ रिहन्ति॒ मधु॑ना॒भ्य॑ञ्जते । सिन्धो॑रुच्छ्वा॒से प॒तय॑न्तमु॒क्षणं॑ हिरण्यपा॒वाः प॒शुमा॑सु गृभ्णते ॥ अञ्जते व्यञ्जते समञ्जते क्रतुं रिहन्ति मधुनाभ्यञ्जते । सिन्धोरुच्छ्वासे पतयन्तमुक्षणं हिरण्यपावाः पशुमासु गृभ्णते ॥
(The priests) smear and grease and anoint (the Soma with milk); (the gods) taste the invigorating (juice); they smear it over with sweet (milk). Purifying it with gold, they plural nge it into those (waters) the sprinkler, the beholder, falling into the seething torrent.
