उ॒तो न्व॑स्य॒ जोष॒माँ इन्द्र॑: सु॒तस्य॒ गोम॑तः । प्रा॒तर्होते॑व मत्सति ॥ उतो न्वस्य जोषमाँ इन्द्रः सुतस्य गोमतः । प्रातर्होतेव मत्सति ॥
Indra also is eager in the morning to drink this effused (Soma) mixed with milk, as a priest (to praise thegods).
english translation
कद॑त्विषन्त सू॒रय॑स्ति॒र आप॑ इव॒ स्रिध॑: । अर्ष॑न्ति पू॒तद॑क्षसः ॥ कदत्विषन्त सूरयस्तिर आप इव स्रिधः । अर्षन्ति पूतदक्षसः ॥
When do the sages flash like waters across (to sky)? When do the Maruts, pure in vigour, destroyers of enemies, come to our offering?
english translation
कद्वो॑ अ॒द्य म॒हानां॑ दे॒वाना॒मवो॑ वृणे । त्मना॑ च द॒स्मव॑र्चसाम् ॥ कद्वो अद्य महानां देवानामवो वृणे । त्मना च दस्मवर्चसाम् ॥
O shall I today possess your protection, mighty deities, beautiful bright in yourselves (though unadorned)?
english translation
आ ये विश्वा॒ पार्थि॑वानि प॒प्रथ॑न्रोच॒ना दि॒वः । म॒रुत॒: सोम॑पीतये ॥ आ ये विश्वा पार्थिवानि पप्रथन्रोचना दिवः । मरुतः सोमपीतये ॥
(We invoke) those maruts to drink our Soma, who have spread our all the things of earth and the luminaries of heaven.
english translation
त्यान्नु पू॒तद॑क्षसो दि॒वो वो॑ मरुतो हुवे । अ॒स्य सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ ॥ त्यान्नु पूतदक्षसो दिवो वो मरुतो हुवे । अस्य सोमस्य पीतये ॥
O Maruts, I invoke you, resplendent, of pure vigour, to drink this Soma.
