यु॒क्ष्वा हि दे॑व॒हूत॑माँ॒ अश्वाँ॑ अग्ने र॒थीरि॑व । नि होता॑ पू॒र्व्यः स॑दः ॥ युक्ष्वा हि देवहूतमाँ अश्वाँ अग्ने रथीरिव । नि होता पूर्व्यः सदः ॥
Agni, like a charioteer yoke your god-invoking steeds; eat thyself first, the invoker.
english translation
उ॒त नो॑ देव दे॒वाँ अच्छा॑ वोचो वि॒दुष्ट॑रः । श्रद्विश्वा॒ वार्या॑ कृधि ॥ उत नो देव देवाँ अच्छा वोचो विदुष्टरः । श्रद्विश्वा वार्या कृधि ॥
Divine (Agni), proclaim us to the gods as profoundly killed; assure to us all desirable things.
english translation
त्वं ह॒ यद्य॑विष्ठ्य॒ सह॑सः सूनवाहुत । ऋ॒तावा॑ य॒ज्ञियो॒ भुव॑: ॥ त्वं ह यद्यविष्ठ्य सहसः सूनवाहुत । ऋतावा यज्ञियो भुवः ॥
Since you are truthful and worthy of sacrifice, O most youthful, son of strength and everywhere honoured with offerings.
english translation
अ॒यम॒ग्निः स॑ह॒स्रिणो॒ वाज॑स्य श॒तिन॒स्पति॑: । मू॒र्धा क॒वी र॑यी॒णाम् ॥ अयमग्निः सहस्रिणो वाजस्य शतिनस्पतिः । मूर्धा कवी रयीणाम् ॥
This Agni is the lord of hundredfold and thousandfold food; he is the head, the seer, (the lord) of wealth.
english translation
तं ने॒मिमृ॒भवो॑ य॒था न॑मस्व॒ सहू॑तिभिः । नेदी॑यो य॒ज्ञम॑ङ्गिरः ॥ तं नेमिमृभवो यथा नमस्व सहूतिभिः । नेदीयो यज्ञमङ्गिरः ॥
O Aṅgirasa, with the deities associated in the invocation draw this offering near you as the Ṛbhus(bend) the circumference of a wheel.
