अ॒रु॒णप्सु॑रु॒षा अ॑भू॒दक॒र्ज्योति॑ॠ॒ताव॑री । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ अरुणप्सुरुषा अभूदकर्ज्योतिॠतावरी । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
The purple-tinted Dawn has appeared, the mistress of the sacrifice spreads her light; let your protectionabide near me.
english translation
अ॒श्विना॒ सु वि॒चाक॑शद्वृ॒क्षं प॑रशु॒माँ इ॑व । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ अश्विना सु विचाकशद्वृक्षं परशुमाँ इव । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Aśvins, the splendidly-brilliant (sun cleaves the darkness) as the woodman with his axe a tree; let your protection abide near me.

पुरं॒ न धृ॑ष्ण॒वा रु॑ज कृ॒ष्णया॑ बाधि॒तो वि॒शा । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ पुरं न धृष्णवा रुज कृष्णया बाधितो विशा । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
O bold Saptavadhri, distressed by the entangling and detaining (basket), break through it as through acity; let your protection (Aśvins) abide near me.
