किमि॒दं वां॑ पुराण॒वज्जर॑तोरिव शस्यते । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ किमिदं वां पुराणवज्जरतोरिव शस्यते । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Why is this (repeated invocation) addressed to you as if you were decrepit like old men? Let your protection abide near me.
english translation
स॒मा॒नं वां॑ सजा॒त्यं॑ समा॒नो बन्धु॑रश्विना । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ समानं वां सजात्यं समानो बन्धुरश्विना । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Aśvins, your relationship is common and you have a common kinsman; let your protection abide near me.
english translation
यो वां॒ रजां॑स्यश्विना॒ रथो॑ वि॒याति॒ रोद॑सी । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ यो वां रजांस्यश्विना रथो वियाति रोदसी । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Your chariot, Aśvins, moves swifty through the worlds, through heaven and earth; let your protection abide near me.

आ नो॒ गव्ये॑भि॒रश्व्यै॑: स॒हस्रै॒रुप॑ गच्छतम् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ आ नो गव्येभिरश्व्यैः सहस्रैरुप गच्छतम् । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Come to us with thousands of herds of cattle and horses; let your protection abide near me.

मा नो॒ गव्ये॑भि॒रश्व्यै॑: स॒हस्रे॑भि॒रति॑ ख्यतम् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मव॑: ॥ मा नो गव्येभिरश्व्यैः सहस्रेभिरति ख्यतम् । अन्ति षद्भूतु वामवः ॥
Pass us not by with your thousands of herds of cattle and horses; let your protection abide near us.
