प॒रोमा॑त्र॒मृची॑षम॒मिन्द्र॑मु॒ग्रं सु॒राध॑सम् । ईशा॑नं चि॒द्वसू॑नाम् ॥ परोमात्रमृचीषममिन्द्रमुग्रं सुराधसम् । ईशानं चिद्वसूनाम् ॥
(I invoke) Indra, the unlimited, worthy of praise, the mighty, possessing excellent wealth, the lord oftreasures (for his votaries).

pa॒romA॑tra॒mRcI॑Sama॒mindra॑mu॒graM su॒rAdha॑sam । IzA॑naM ci॒dvasU॑nAm ॥ paromAtramRcISamamindramugraM surAdhasam । IzAnaM cidvasUnAm ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतंत॒मिद्राध॑से म॒ह इन्द्रं॑ चोदामि पी॒तये॑ । यः पू॒र्व्यामनु॑ष्टुति॒मीशे॑ कृष्टी॒नां नृ॒तुः ॥ तंतमिद्राधसे मह इन्द्रं चोदामि पीतये । यः पूर्व्यामनुष्टुतिमीशे कृष्टीनां नृतुः ॥
To him, to him, Indra, do I direct my praise, that he may quaff the Soma to my great gain-- to him, thebringer of success, who rules over the praises of the offerers at the opening of the sacrifice.

taMta॒midrAdha॑se ma॒ha indraM॑ codAmi pI॒taye॑ । yaH pU॒rvyAmanu॑STuti॒mIze॑ kRSTI॒nAM nR॒tuH ॥ taMtamidrAdhase maha indraM codAmi pItaye । yaH pUrvyAmanuSTutimIze kRSTInAM nRtuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन यस्य॑ ते शवसान स॒ख्यमा॒नंश॒ मर्त्य॑: । नकि॒: शवां॑सि ते नशत् ॥ न यस्य ते शवसान सख्यमानंश मर्त्यः । नकिः शवांसि ते नशत् ॥
You mighty one, whose friendship no mortal reaches, whose might no one attains.

na yasya॑ te zavasAna sa॒khyamA॒naMza॒ martya॑: । naki॒: zavAM॑si te nazat ॥ na yasya te zavasAna sakhyamAnaMza martyaH । nakiH zavAMsi te nazat ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वोता॑स॒स्त्वा यु॒जाप्सु सूर्ये॑ म॒हद्धन॑म् । जये॑म पृ॒त्सु व॑ज्रिवः ॥ त्वोतासस्त्वा युजाप्सु सूर्ये महद्धनम् । जयेम पृत्सु वज्रिवः ॥
Protected by you, O thunderer, with you as our ally, may we win great wealth in battles, that we may bathe in the water and behold he sun.

tvotA॑sa॒stvA yu॒jApsu sUrye॑ ma॒haddhana॑m । jaye॑ma pR॒tsu va॑jrivaH ॥ tvotAsastvA yujApsu sUrye mahaddhanam । jayema pRtsu vajrivaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतं त्वा॑ य॒ज्ञेभि॑रीमहे॒ तं गी॒र्भिर्गि॑र्वणस्तम । इन्द्र॒ यथा॑ चि॒दावि॑थ॒ वाजे॑षु पुरु॒माय्य॑म् ॥ तं त्वा यज्ञेभिरीमहे तं गीर्भिर्गिर्वणस्तम । इन्द्र यथा चिदाविथ वाजेषु पुरुमाय्यम् ॥
We address you with sacrificial gifts, (we address you) with songs, O Indra most worthy of song, as you have protected me, the offerer of many praises, in battles.
