आ त्वा॒ रथं॒ यथो॒तये॑ सु॒म्नाय॑ वर्तयामसि । तु॒वि॒कू॒र्मिमृ॑ती॒षह॒मिन्द्र॒ शवि॑ष्ठ॒ सत्प॑ते ॥ आ त्वा रथं यथोतये सुम्नाय वर्तयामसि । तुविकूर्मिमृतीषहमिन्द्र शविष्ठ सत्पते ॥
Most powerful Indra, protector of the good, we brin you here, rich in achievement and subduer ofenemies, as a car for our protection and weal.
english translation
तुवि॑शुष्म॒ तुवि॑क्रतो॒ शची॑वो॒ विश्व॑या मते । आ प॑प्राथ महित्व॒ना ॥ तुविशुष्म तुविक्रतो शचीवो विश्वया मते । आ पप्राथ महित्वना ॥
Great in power, rich in deeds, might one, adorable, you have filled (all things) with your universal majesty.
english translation
यस्य॑ ते महि॒ना म॒हः परि॑ ज्मा॒यन्त॑मी॒यतु॑: । हस्ता॒ वज्रं॑ हिर॒ण्यय॑म् ॥ यस्य ते महिना महः परि ज्मायन्तमीयतुः । हस्ता वज्रं हिरण्ययम् ॥
You mighty one, whose hands in your might grasp the all-pervading golden thunderbolt.
english translation
वि॒श्वान॑रस्य व॒स्पति॒मना॑नतस्य॒ शव॑सः । एवै॑श्च चर्षणी॒नामू॒ती हु॑वे॒ रथा॑नाम् ॥ विश्वानरस्य वस्पतिमनानतस्य शवसः । एवैश्च चर्षणीनामूती हुवे रथानाम् ॥
I invoke (Indra) the lord of that might which subdues all enmies and bow to none-- (I invoke him)followed by your onsets as his soldiers and (surrounded) by the protection of your chariots (O Maruts).
english translation
अ॒भिष्ट॑ये स॒दावृ॑धं॒ स्व॑र्मीळ्हेषु॒ यं नर॑: । नाना॒ हव॑न्त ऊ॒तये॑ ॥ अभिष्टये सदावृधं स्वर्मीळ्हेषु यं नरः । नाना हवन्त ऊतये ॥
(I invoke him) to come to our help, whose might ever waxes more and more-- to whom men appeal for aid in various ways in battles.
