स॒हस्रे॑णेव सचते यवी॒युधा॒ यस्त॒ आन॒ळुप॑स्तुतिम् । पु॒त्रं प्रा॑व॒र्गं कृ॑णुते सु॒वीर्ये॑ दा॒श्नोति॒ नम॑उक्तिभिः ॥ सहस्रेणेव सचते यवीयुधा यस्त आनळुपस्तुतिम् । पुत्रं प्रावर्गं कृणुते सुवीर्ये दाश्नोति नमउक्तिभिः ॥
He who has made his praise attain to you associates himself with a thousand gallant combatants; hewho offers oblations with reverence begets a valiant son, the scatterer (of enemies).
english translation
मा भे॑म॒ मा श्र॑मिष्मो॒ग्रस्य॑ स॒ख्ये तव॑ । म॒हत्ते॒ वृष्णो॑ अभि॒चक्ष्यं॑ कृ॒तं पश्ये॑म तु॒र्वशं॒ यदु॑म् ॥ मा भेम मा श्रमिष्मोग्रस्य सख्ये तव । महत्ते वृष्णो अभिचक्ष्यं कृतं पश्येम तुर्वशं यदुम् ॥
(Secure) in the friendship of you who are terrible, let us not fear, let us not be harassed; great andglorious, showerer (of benefits), are your deeds, as we may behold them in the case of Turvaśa, of Yadu.
english translation
स॒व्यामनु॑ स्फि॒ग्यं॑ वावसे॒ वृषा॒ न दा॒नो अ॑स्य रोषति । मध्वा॒ सम्पृ॑क्ताः सार॒घेण॑ धे॒नव॒स्तूय॒मेहि॒ द्रवा॒ पिब॑ ॥ सव्यामनु स्फिग्यं वावसे वृषा न दानो अस्य रोषति । मध्वा सम्पृक्ताः सारघेण धेनवस्तूयमेहि द्रवा पिब ॥
The showerer (of benefits) with his left hip covers (the world), no tearer (of it) angers him; the delightful(Soma juices) are mixed with the sweet honey of the bee; come quickly hither, hasten, drink.
english translation
अ॒श्वी र॒थी सु॑रू॒प इद्गोमाँ॒ इदि॑न्द्र ते॒ सखा॑ । श्वा॒त्र॒भाजा॒ वय॑सा सचते॒ सदा॑ च॒न्द्रो या॑ति स॒भामुप॑ ॥ अश्वी रथी सुरूप इद्गोमाँ इदिन्द्र ते सखा । श्वात्रभाजा वयसा सचते सदा चन्द्रो याति सभामुप ॥
He who is your friend, Indra, is verily possessed of horses, of cars, of cattle, and is of goodly form; he isever supplied with food-comprising riches, and delighting all, he enters an assembly.
english translation
ऋश्यो॒ न तृष्य॑न्नव॒पान॒मा ग॑हि॒ पिबा॒ सोमं॒ वशाँ॒ अनु॑ । नि॒मेघ॑मानो मघवन्दि॒वेदि॑व॒ ओजि॑ष्ठं दधिषे॒ सह॑: ॥ ऋश्यो न तृष्यन्नवपानमा गहि पिबा सोमं वशाँ अनु । निमेघमानो मघवन्दिवेदिव ओजिष्ठं दधिषे सहः ॥
Come like a thirsty deer to the watering plural ce, drink at will of the Soma, whence, daily driving down theclouds, you sustain, Maghavan, most vigorous strength.
