यदि॑न्द्र॒ प्रागपा॒गुद॒ङ्न्य॑ग्वा हू॒यसे॒ नृभि॑: । सिमा॑ पु॒रू नृषू॑तो अ॒स्यान॒वेऽसि॑ प्रशर्ध तु॒र्वशे॑ ॥ यदिन्द्र प्रागपागुदङ्न्यग्वा हूयसे नृभिः । सिमा पुरू नृषूतो अस्यानवेऽसि प्रशर्ध तुर्वशे ॥

Inasmuch, Indra, as you are invoked by the people in the east, in the west, in the north, in the south, so,excellent Indra, have you been incited by men on behalf of the son of Anu; so, overcomer of foes, (have you beencalled upon) on behalf of Turvaśa.

यद्वा॒ रुमे॒ रुश॑मे॒ श्याव॑के॒ कृप॒ इन्द्र॑ मा॒दय॑से॒ सचा॑ । कण्वा॑सस्त्वा॒ ब्रह्म॑भि॒: स्तोम॑वाहस॒ इन्द्रा य॑च्छ॒न्त्या ग॑हि ॥ यद्वा रुमे रुशमे श्यावके कृप इन्द्र मादयसे सचा । कण्वासस्त्वा ब्रह्मभिः स्तोमवाहस इन्द्रा यच्छन्त्या गहि ॥

Inasmuch, Indra, as you have been exhilarated in the society of Ruma, Ruśama, Śyāvaka and Kṛpa,so the Kaṇvas, bearers of oblations, attract you with their praises, (therefore) come here.

यथा॑ गौ॒रो अ॒पा कृ॒तं तृष्य॒न्नेत्यवेरि॑णम् । आ॒पि॒त्वे न॑: प्रपि॒त्वे तूय॒मा ग॑हि॒ कण्वे॑षु॒ सु सचा॒ पिब॑ ॥ यथा गौरो अपा कृतं तृष्यन्नेत्यवेरिणम् । आपित्वे नः प्रपित्वे तूयमा गहि कण्वेषु सु सचा पिब ॥

As the thirsty Gaura hastens to the pool filled with water in the desert, so, (Indra), our affinity beingacknowledged, come quickly, and drink freely with the Kaṇvas.

मन्द॑न्तु त्वा मघवन्नि॒न्द्रेन्द॑वो राधो॒देया॑य सुन्व॒ते । आ॒मुष्या॒ सोम॑मपिबश्च॒मू सु॒तं ज्येष्ठं॒ तद्द॑धिषे॒ सह॑: ॥ मन्दन्तु त्वा मघवन्निन्द्रेन्दवो राधोदेयाय सुन्वते । आमुष्या सोममपिबश्चमू सुतं ज्येष्ठं तद्दधिषे सहः ॥

Opulent Indra, may the Soma drops exhilate you, that you may bestow wealth on the donor of thelibation; for taking it by stealth (when given), you have drunk the Soma poured out into the ladle, and have thence sustained pre- eminent strength.

प्र च॑क्रे॒ सह॑सा॒ सहो॑ ब॒भञ्ज॑ म॒न्युमोज॑सा । विश्वे॑ त इन्द्र पृतना॒यवो॑ यहो॒ नि वृ॒क्षा इ॑व येमिरे ॥ प्र चक्रे सहसा सहो बभञ्ज मन्युमोजसा । विश्वे त इन्द्र पृतनायवो यहो नि वृक्षा इव येमिरे ॥

By his strength he has overpowered the strength (of his foes), he has crushed thei wrath by hisprowess; all hostile armies have been arrested like trees (immoveable through fear), mighty Indra, by you.
