प॒थ एक॑: पीपाय॒ तस्क॑रो यथाँ ए॒ष वे॑द निधी॒नाम् ॥ पथ एकः पीपाय तस्करो यथाँ एष वेद निधीनाम् ॥
One (Pūṣan) watches the roads like a robber, and is cognizant of hidden treasures.
english translation
त्रीण्येक॑ उरुगा॒यो वि च॑क्रमे॒ यत्र॑ दे॒वासो॒ मद॑न्ति ॥ त्रीण्येक उरुगायो वि चक्रमे यत्र देवासो मदन्ति ॥
One (Viṣṇu) wide-stepping, has traversed the three worlds where the gods rejoice.
english translation
विभि॒र्द्वा च॑रत॒ एक॑या स॒ह प्र प्र॑वा॒सेव॑ वसतः ॥ विभिर्द्वा चरत एकया सह प्र प्रवासेव वसतः ॥
Two (the Aśvins), travel with swift (horses) along with one (bride Sūrya), like travellers to foreign countries.
english translation
सदो॒ द्वा च॑क्राते उप॒मा दि॒वि स॒म्राजा॑ स॒र्पिरा॑सुती ॥ सदो द्वा चक्राते उपमा दिवि सम्राजा सर्पिरासुती ॥
Two of like beauty and of royal rank (Mitra and Varuṇa), worshipped with oblations of clarified butter,have taken their seat in heaven.
english translation
अर्च॑न्त॒ एके॒ महि॒ साम॑ मन्वत॒ तेन॒ सूर्य॑मरोचयन् ॥ अर्चन्त एके महि साम मन्वत तेन सूर्यमरोचयन् ॥
Some (the Atris) when worshipping, call to mind the great Sāman, wherewith they light up the sun.
