तम्व॒भि प्र गा॑यत पुरुहू॒तं पु॑रुष्टु॒तम् । इन्द्रं॑ गी॒र्भिस्त॑वि॒षमा वि॑वासत ॥ तम्वभि प्र गायत पुरुहूतं पुरुष्टुतम् । इन्द्रं गीर्भिस्तविषमा विवासत ॥
Glorify him the invoked of many, the praised of many; adore the powerful Indra with hymns.
english translation
यस्य॑ द्वि॒बर्ह॑सो बृ॒हत्सहो॑ दा॒धार॒ रोद॑सी । गि॒रीँरज्राँ॑ अ॒पः स्व॑र्वृषत्व॒ना ॥ यस्य द्विबर्हसो बृहत्सहो दाधार रोदसी । गिरीँरज्राँ अपः स्वर्वृषत्वना ॥
The vast strength of whom, powerful in both (regions), has sustained the heaven and earth, and by itsvigour (upheld) the swift clouds and flowing waters.
english translation
स रा॑जसि पुरुष्टुतँ॒ एको॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नसे । इन्द्र॒ जैत्रा॑ श्रव॒स्या॑ च॒ यन्त॑वे ॥ स राजसि पुरुष्टुतँ एको वृत्राणि जिघ्नसे । इन्द्र जैत्रा श्रवस्या च यन्तवे ॥
You, the praised of many, reign; you, single, have slain many enemies, in order to acquire the spoils ofvictory and abundant food.
english translation
तं ते॒ मदं॑ गृणीमसि॒ वृष॑णं पृ॒त्सु सा॑स॒हिम् । उ॒ लो॒क॒कृ॒त्नुम॑द्रिवो हरि॒श्रिय॑म् ॥ तं ते मदं गृणीमसि वृषणं पृत्सु सासहिम् । उ लोककृत्नुमद्रिवो हरिश्रियम् ॥
We celebrate, thunderer, your exhilaration, the showerer (of benefits), the overcomer (of foes) in battle,the maker of the world, the glorious with your steeds.
english translation
येन॒ ज्योतीं॑ष्या॒यवे॒ मन॑वे च वि॒वेदि॑थ । म॒न्दा॒नो अ॒स्य ब॒र्हिषो॒ वि रा॑जसि ॥ येन ज्योतींष्यायवे मनवे च विवेदिथ । मन्दानो अस्य बर्हिषो वि राजसि ॥
Whereby you have made the plural nets manifest to Ayu and to Manu, and rule rejoicing over this sacredrite.
