उदि॑ता॒ यो निदि॑ता॒ वेदि॑ता॒ वस्वा य॒ज्ञियो॑ व॒वर्त॑ति । दु॒ष्टरा॒ यस्य॑ प्रव॒णे नोर्मयो॑ धि॒या वाज॒ सिषा॑सतः ॥ उदिता यो निदिता वेदिता वस्वा यज्ञियो ववर्तति । दुष्टरा यस्य प्रवणे नोर्मयो धिया वाजं सिषासतः ॥

sanskrit

(Praise him) the knower, worthy of the sacrifice, who brings to us treasures which have come up (fromthe depths) and are far-renowned-- whose (flames), as he hastend to wage the battle by means of our sacred riteand hard to be passed through as waves rushing down a declivity.

english translation

udi॑tA॒ yo nidi॑tA॒ vedi॑tA॒ vasvA ya॒jJiyo॑ va॒varta॑ti | du॒STarA॒ yasya॑ prava॒Ne normayo॑ dhi॒yA vAja॒ siSA॑sataH || uditA yo niditA veditA vasvA yajJiyo vavartati | duSTarA yasya pravaNe normayo dhiyA vAjaM siSAsataH ||

मा नो॑ हृणीता॒मति॑थि॒र्वसु॑र॒ग्निः पु॑रुप्रश॒स्त ए॒षः । यः सु॒होता॑ स्वध्व॒रः ॥ मा नो हृणीतामतिथिर्वसुरग्निः पुरुप्रशस्त एषः । यः सुहोता स्वध्वरः ॥

sanskrit

May none hinder Agni from coming to us, our guest, the giver of dwellings, praised by many-- (Agni)who is the excellent invoker of the gods, who offers an excellent sacrifice.

english translation

mA no॑ hRNItA॒mati॑thi॒rvasu॑ra॒gniH pu॑rupraza॒sta e॒SaH | yaH su॒hotA॑ svadhva॒raH || mA no hRNItAmatithirvasuragniH puruprazasta eSaH | yaH suhotA svadhvaraH ||

मो ते रि॑ष॒न्ये अच्छो॑क्तिभिर्व॒सोऽग्ने॒ केभि॑श्चि॒देवै॑: । की॒रिश्चि॒द्धि त्वामीट्टे॑ दू॒त्या॑य रा॒तह॑व्यः स्वध्व॒रः ॥ मो ते रिषन्ये अच्छोक्तिभिर्वसोऽग्ने केभिश्चिदेवैः । कीरिश्चिद्धि त्वामीट्टे दूत्याय रातहव्यः स्वध्वरः ॥

sanskrit

Agni, giver of dwellings, let not those come to harm, who approach you in whatever manner with hymnsof praise; the worshipper who offers his libation and duly performs the rite praises you that you may be the bearer of the sacrifice.

english translation

mo te ri॑Sa॒nye accho॑ktibhirva॒so'gne॒ kebhi॑zci॒devai॑: | kI॒rizci॒ddhi tvAmITTe॑ dU॒tyA॑ya rA॒taha॑vyaH svadhva॒raH || mo te riSanye acchoktibhirvaso'gne kebhizcidevaiH | kIrizciddhi tvAmITTe dUtyAya rAtahavyaH svadhvaraH ||

आग्ने॑ याहि म॒रुत्स॑खा रु॒द्रेभि॒: सोम॑पीतये । सोभ॑र्या॒ उप॑ सुष्टु॒तिं मा॒दय॑स्व॒ स्व॑र्णरे ॥ आग्ने याहि मरुत्सखा रुद्रेभिः सोमपीतये । सोभर्या उप सुष्टुतिं मादयस्व स्वर्णरे ॥

Agni, who have the Maruts as your friends, come with the Rudras to drinkt he Soma; come to thepraises of Sobhari; delight yourself at our solemn rite.

english translation

Agne॑ yAhi ma॒rutsa॑khA ru॒drebhi॒: soma॑pItaye | sobha॑ryA॒ upa॑ suSTu॒tiM mA॒daya॑sva॒ sva॑rNare || Agne yAhi marutsakhA rudrebhiH somapItaye | sobharyA upa suSTutiM mAdayasva svarNare ||
