अग्ने॑ घृ॒तस्य॑ धी॒तिभि॑स्तेपा॒नो दे॑व शो॒चिषा॑ । आ दे॒वान्व॑क्षि॒ यक्षि॑ च ॥ अग्ने घृतस्य धीतिभिस्तेपानो देव शोचिषा । आ देवान्वक्षि यक्षि च ॥
Divine Agni, blazing with radiance, through our oblations of ghī, bear (our sacrifice) to the gods and offer it.
english translation
तं त्वा॑जनन्त मा॒तर॑: क॒विं दे॒वासो॑ अङ्गिरः । ह॒व्य॒वाह॒मम॑र्त्यम् ॥ तं त्वाजनन्त मातरः कविं देवासो अङ्गिरः । हव्यवाहममर्त्यम् ॥
The gods, as mothers, have borne you Aṅgirasa, the seer, the immortal, the bearer of the oblation.
english translation
प्रचे॑तसं त्वा क॒वेऽग्ने॑ दू॒तं वरे॑ण्यम् । ह॒व्य॒वाहं॒ नि षे॑दिरे ॥ प्रचेतसं त्वा कवेऽग्ने दूतं वरेण्यम् । हव्यवाहं नि षेदिरे ॥
The gods seat you in your plural ce, O wise Agni, the seer, the messenger, the most excellent the bearer of the oblation.
english translation
न॒हि मे॒ अस्त्यघ्न्या॒ न स्वधि॑ति॒र्वन॑न्वति । अथै॑ता॒दृग्भ॑रामि ते ॥ नहि मे अस्त्यघ्न्या न स्वधितिर्वनन्वति । अथैतादृग्भरामि ते ॥
No cow is mine, and no axe is at hand to cleave wood, but yet I bring both these to you.
english translation
यद॑ग्ने॒ कानि॒ कानि॑ चि॒दा ते॒ दारू॑णि द॒ध्मसि॑ । ता जु॑षस्व यविष्ठ्य ॥ यदग्ने कानि कानि चिदा ते दारूणि दध्मसि । ता जुषस्व यविष्ठ्य ॥
Most youthful (Agni), when we offer any kinds of timber trees to burn, you accept them all.
