शी॒रं पा॑व॒कशो॑चिषं॒ ज्येष्ठो॒ यो दमे॒ष्वा । दी॒दाय॑ दीर्घ॒श्रुत्त॑मः ॥ शीरं पावकशोचिषं ज्येष्ठो यो दमेष्वा । दीदाय दीर्घश्रुत्तमः ॥
(Praise him) the dweller in the sacrifice, of purifying radiance, who shines, the chief of the gods andomniscient, in the house (of the sacrificers).
english translation
तमर्व॑न्तं॒ न सा॑न॒सिं गृ॑णी॒हि वि॑प्र शु॒ष्मिण॑म् । मि॒त्रं न या॑त॒यज्ज॑नम् ॥ तमर्वन्तं न सानसिं गृणीहि विप्र शुष्मिणम् । मित्रं न यातयज्जनम् ॥
O priest, glorify him, who is welcome and strong as a horse, and who like a friend conquers all foes.
english translation
उप॑ त्वा जा॒मयो॒ गिरो॒ देदि॑शतीर्हवि॒ष्कृत॑: । वा॒योरनी॑के अस्थिरन् ॥ उप त्वा जामयो गिरो देदिशतीर्हविष्कृतः । वायोरनीके अस्थिरन् ॥
The sister praises of the worshipper rise to you, proclaiming your glories; they stand kindling you in the presence of Vāyu.
english translation
यस्य॑ त्रि॒धात्ववृ॑तं ब॒र्हिस्त॒स्थावसं॑दिनम् । आप॑श्चि॒न्नि द॑धा प॒दम् ॥ यस्य त्रिधात्ववृतं बर्हिस्तस्थावसंदिनम् । आपश्चिन्नि दधा पदम् ॥
The waters find their plural ce in him, for whom the triple-jointed grass is spread unlimited and untied (inthe sacrifice).

प॒दं दे॒वस्य॑ मी॒ळ्हुषोऽना॑धृष्टाभिरू॒तिभि॑: । भ॒द्रा सूर्य॑ इवोप॒दृक् ॥ पदं देवस्य मीळ्हुषोऽनाधृष्टाभिरूतिभिः । भद्रा सूर्य इवोपदृक् ॥
Auspicious is the plural ce of the god who pours forth all desires with his inviolable protections; auspiciousis his appearance like the Sun's.
