त्वामु॒ग्रमव॑से चर्षणी॒सहं॒ राज॑न्दे॒वेषु॑ हूमहे । विश्वा॒ सु नो॑ विथु॒रा पि॑ब्द॒ना व॑सो॒ऽमित्रा॑न्त्सु॒षहा॑न्कृधि ॥ त्वामुग्रमवसे चर्षणीसहं राजन्देवेषु हूमहे । विश्वा सु नो विथुरा पिब्दना वसोऽमित्रान्त्सुषहान्कृधि ॥
We invoke for protection you, royal Indra, who are mighty among the gods, tthe subduer of men; granter of dwellings, repel all evil spirits, and render our enemies easy of discomfiture.
english translation
यदि॑न्द्र॒ नाहु॑षी॒ष्वाँ ओजो॑ नृ॒म्णं च॑ कृ॒ष्टिषु॑ । यद्वा॒ पञ्च॑ क्षिती॒नां द्यु॒म्नमा भ॑र स॒त्रा विश्वा॑नि॒ पौंस्या॑ ॥ यदिन्द्र नाहुषीष्वाँ ओजो नृम्णं च कृष्टिषु । यद्वा पञ्च क्षितीनां द्युम्नमा भर सत्रा विश्वानि पौंस्या ॥
Whatever strength and opulence (exist) among human beings, whatever be the sustenance of the five classes of men, bring Indra to us, as well (as) all great manly energies.
english translation
यद्वा॑ तृ॒क्षौ म॑घवन्द्रु॒ह्यावा जने॒ यत्पू॒रौ कच्च॒ वृष्ण्य॑म् । अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ तद्रि॑रीहि॒ सं नृ॒षाह्ये॒ऽमित्रा॑न्पृ॒त्सु तु॒र्वणे॑ ॥ यद्वा तृक्षौ मघवन्द्रुह्यावा जने यत्पूरौ कच्च वृष्ण्यम् । अस्मभ्यं तद्रिरीहि सं नृषाह्येऽमित्रान्पृत्सु तुर्वणे ॥
Whatever vigour, Maghavan, (existed) in Tṛkṣu, in Druhyu, in Puru, bestow fully upon us in conflicts with foes, so that we may destroy our enemies in war.
english translation
इन्द्र॑ त्रि॒धातु॑ शर॒णं त्रि॒वरू॑थं स्वस्ति॒मत् । छ॒र्दिर्य॑च्छ म॒घव॑द्भ्यश्च॒ मह्यं॑ च या॒वया॑ दि॒द्युमे॑भ्यः ॥ इन्द्र त्रिधातु शरणं त्रिवरूथं स्वस्तिमत् । छर्दिर्यच्छ मघवद्भ्यश्च मह्यं च यावया दिद्युमेभ्यः ॥
Give, Indra, to the affluent, and to me also, a sheltering and prosperous dwelling combining three elements, and defending in three ways and keep from them the blazing (weapon of our foes).

ये ग॑व्य॒ता मन॑सा॒ शत्रु॑माद॒भुर॑भिप्र॒घ्नन्ति॑ धृष्णु॒या । अध॑ स्मा नो मघवन्निन्द्र गिर्वणस्तनू॒पा अन्त॑मो भव ॥ ये गव्यता मनसा शत्रुमादभुरभिप्रघ्नन्ति धृष्णुया । अध स्मा नो मघवन्निन्द्र गिर्वणस्तनूपा अन्तमो भव ॥
Affluent Indra, propitiated by praise, be nigh o us, as the defender of our person ns (against those) who assail (us as) enemies, with a mind bent upon carrying off (our) cattle, or who assault us with arrogance.
