त्रिं॒शच्छ॑तं व॒र्मिण॑ इन्द्र सा॒कं य॒व्याव॑त्यां पुरुहूत श्रव॒स्या । वृ॒चीव॑न्त॒: शर॑वे॒ पत्य॑माना॒: पात्रा॑ भिन्दा॒ना न्य॒र्थान्या॑यन् ॥ त्रिंशच्छतं वर्मिण इन्द्र साकं यव्यावत्यां पुरुहूत श्रवस्या । वृचीवन्तः शरवे पत्यमानाः पात्रा भिन्दाना न्यर्थान्यायन् ॥
Indra, the invoked of many, thirty hundred mailed warriors (were collected) together on the Yavyāvatī, to acquire glory, but the Vṛcīvats advancing in a hostile manner, and breaking the sacrificial vessels, went to (their own) annihilation.
