तमु॑ ष्टुहि॒ यो अ॒भिभू॑त्योजा व॒न्वन्नवा॑तः पुरुहू॒त इन्द्र॑: । अषा॑ळ्हमु॒ग्रं सह॑मानमा॒भिर्गी॒र्भिर्व॑र्ध वृष॒भं च॑र्षणी॒नाम् ॥ तमु ष्टुहि यो अभिभूत्योजा वन्वन्नवातः पुरुहूत इन्द्रः । अषाळ्हमुग्रं सहमानमाभिर्गीर्भिर्वर्ध वृषभं चर्षणीनाम् ॥
Praise him who is Indra, the invoker of many, endowed with overpowering vigour, the destroyer (of foes), unharmed by them; exalt with these praises the irresistible, fierce, victorious Indra, the showerer (of benefits) upon mankind.
english translation
स यु॒ध्मः सत्वा॑ खज॒कृत्स॒मद्वा॑ तुविम्र॒क्षो न॑दनु॒माँ ऋ॑जी॒षी । बृ॒हद्रे॑णु॒श्च्यव॑नो॒ मानु॑षीणा॒मेक॑: कृष्टी॒नाम॑भवत्स॒हावा॑ ॥ स युध्मः सत्वा खजकृत्समद्वा तुविम्रक्षो नदनुमाँ ऋजीषी । बृहद्रेणुश्च्यवनो मानुषीणामेकः कृष्टीनामभवत्सहावा ॥
He is ever the combatant, the donor, the engaged in battle, the sympathizer (with the sacrificer), the benefactor of many, the loud-sounding, the partaker of the stale libation, the stirrer up of dust (in strife), the chief protector of men the descendants of Manu, the endowed with strength.

त्वं ह॒ नु त्यद॑दमायो॒ दस्यूँ॒रेक॑: कृ॒ष्टीर॑वनो॒रार्या॑य । अस्ति॑ स्वि॒न्नु वी॒र्यं१॒॑ तत्त॑ इन्द्र॒ न स्वि॑दस्ति॒ तदृ॑तु॒था वि वो॑चः ॥ त्वं ह नु त्यददमायो दस्यूँरेकः कृष्टीरवनोरार्याय । अस्ति स्विन्नु वीर्यं तत्त इन्द्र न स्विदस्ति तदृतुथा वि वोचः ॥
You are he who has quickly humbled the Dasyus; you are the chief one who has given posterity to the Arya;but, Indra, is not verily your power such? If it be not, then in due season confess.
english translation
सदिद्धि ते॑ तुविजा॒तस्य॒ मन्ये॒ सह॑: सहिष्ठ तुर॒तस्तु॒रस्य॑ । उ॒ग्रमु॒ग्रस्य॑ त॒वस॒स्तवी॒योऽर॑ध्रस्य रध्र॒तुरो॑ बभूव ॥ सदिद्धि ते तुविजातस्य मन्ये सहः सहिष्ठ तुरतस्तुरस्य । उग्रमुग्रस्य तवसस्तवीयोऽरध्रस्य रध्रतुरो बभूव ॥
Yet, most mighty one, I believe that powre is verily always in you, who are manifest at many rites, and are the enemy of (our) enemies; (the power) that is fierce in the fierce one, most mighty in the mighty one, most unassailable in the subduer (of foes).
english translation
तन्न॑: प्र॒त्नं स॒ख्यम॑स्तु यु॒ष्मे इ॒त्था वद॑द्भिर्व॒लमङ्गि॑रोभिः । हन्न॑च्युतच्युद्दस्मे॒षय॑न्तमृ॒णोः पुरो॒ वि दुरो॑ अस्य॒ विश्वा॑: ॥ तन्नः प्रत्नं सख्यमस्तु युष्मे इत्था वदद्भिर्वलमङ्गिरोभिः । हन्नच्युतच्युद्दस्मेषयन्तमृणोः पुरो वि दुरो अस्य विश्वाः ॥
May that our ancient friendship with you ever endure; as when, along with the Aṅgirasas, celebrating your praises, you, beautiful Indra, caster down of the immoveable (roks), did verily slay Bala, hurling (his darts against you), and force open his cities, and all his gates.
