पा॒तं नो॑ रुद्रा पा॒युभि॑रु॒त त्रा॑येथां सुत्रा॒त्रा । तु॒र्याम॒ दस्यू॑न्त॒नूभि॑: ॥ पातं नो रुद्रा पायुभिरुत त्रायेथां सुत्रात्रा । तुर्याम दस्यून्तनूभिः ॥

Protect us with your protections; preserve us with kind preservation; may we, with our descendants, overcome the Dasyus.

english translation

pA॒taM no॑ rudrA pA॒yubhi॑ru॒ta trA॑yethAM sutrA॒trA । tu॒ryAma॒ dasyU॑nta॒nUbhi॑: ॥ pAtaM no rudrA pAyubhiruta trAyethAM sutrAtrA । turyAma dasyUntanUbhiH ॥
