वरु॑णं वो रि॒शाद॑समृ॒चा मि॒त्रं ह॑वामहे । परि॑ व्र॒जेव॑ बा॒ह्वोर्ज॑ग॒न्वांसा॒ स्व॑र्णरम् ॥ वरुणं वो रिशादसमृचा मित्रं हवामहे । परि व्रजेव बाह्वोर्जगन्वांसा स्वर्णरम् ॥
We invoke you, Mitra and Varuṇa, with this hymn; each the discomfiter of foes, the conductor to heaven, like (two herdsmen) driving, by (the strength of their) arms, the herds of cattle before them.
english translation
ता बा॒हवा॑ सुचे॒तुना॒ प्र य॑न्तमस्मा॒ अर्च॑ते । शेवं॒ हि जा॒र्यं॑ वां॒ विश्वा॑सु॒ क्षासु॒ जोगु॑वे ॥ ता बाहवा सुचेतुना प्र यन्तमस्मा अर्चते । शेवं हि जार्यं वां विश्वासु क्षासु जोगुवे ॥
Do you two, with discriminating hand, bestow upon me, your worshipper, (what I desire); for the desirable felicity (that is given by you) spreads through all lands.
english translation
यन्नू॒नम॒श्यां गतिं॑ मि॒त्रस्य॑ यायां प॒था । अस्य॑ प्रि॒यस्य॒ शर्म॒ण्यहिं॑सानस्य सश्चिरे ॥ यन्नूनमश्यां गतिं मित्रस्य यायां पथा । अस्य प्रियस्य शर्मण्यहिंसानस्य सश्चिरे ॥
That I may now pursue the (right) direction, may I proceed by the path of Mitra, for all (good things) are aggregated in the happiness, (the gift) of that beloved and benignant (deity).
english translation
यु॒वाभ्यां॑ मित्रावरुणोप॒मं धे॑यामृ॒चा । यद्ध॒ क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॑ स्तोतॄ॒णां च॑ स्पू॒र्धसे॑ ॥ युवाभ्यां मित्रावरुणोपमं धेयामृचा । यद्ध क्षये मघोनां स्तोतॄणां च स्पूर्धसे ॥
May I obtain from you, Mitra and Varuṇa, by my praise, such wealth as to excite envy in the dwellings of the rich and the devout.

आ नो॑ मित्र सुदी॒तिभि॒र्वरु॑णश्च स॒धस्थ॒ आ । स्वे क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॒ सखी॑नां च वृ॒धसे॑ ॥ आ नो मित्र सुदीतिभिर्वरुणश्च सधस्थ आ । स्वे क्षये मघोनां सखीनां च वृधसे ॥
Come, Mitra (come), Varuṇa, with your splendour to our assembly, and augment (the prosperity) of the affluent (worshipper), and of (those who are) your friends in their respective abodes.
