प्र वो॒ वाजा॑ अ॒भिद्य॑वो ह॒विष्म॑न्तो घृ॒ताच्या॑ । दे॒वाञ्जि॑गाति सुम्न॒युः ॥ प्र वो वाजा अभिद्यवो हविष्मन्तो घृताच्या । देवाञ्जिगाति सुम्नयुः ॥
The months, the half months, (the gods) who are the receivers of oblations, with the butter-yielding kine, preside over your rite; the sacrificer, desirous of prosperity, worships the gods.

pra vo॒ vAjA॑ a॒bhidya॑vo ha॒viSma॑nto ghR॒tAcyA॑ । de॒vAJji॑gAti sumna॒yuH ॥ pra vo vAjA abhidyavo haviSmanto ghRtAcyA । devAJjigAti sumnayuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptईळे॑ अ॒ग्निं वि॑प॒श्चितं॑ गि॒रा य॒ज्ञस्य॒ साध॑नम् । श्रु॒ष्टी॒वानं॑ धि॒तावा॑नम् ॥ ईळे अग्निं विपश्चितं गिरा यज्ञस्य साधनम् । श्रुष्टीवानं धितावानम् ॥
I worship with praise the wise Agni, the accomplisher of sacrifice, the possessor of happiness, the repository of wealth.

ILe॑ a॒gniM vi॑pa॒zcitaM॑ gi॒rA ya॒jJasya॒ sAdha॑nam । zru॒STI॒vAnaM॑ dhi॒tAvA॑nam ॥ ILe agniM vipazcitaM girA yajJasya sAdhanam । zruSTIvAnaM dhitAvAnam ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअग्ने॑ श॒केम॑ ते व॒यं यमं॑ दे॒वस्य॑ वा॒जिन॑: । अति॒ द्वेषां॑सि तरेम ॥ अग्ने शकेम ते वयं यमं देवस्य वाजिनः । अति द्वेषांसि तरेम ॥
May we offering oblations effect the detention of you is divine (until the completion of the rite), and may we (thereby) overcome all animosities.

agne॑ za॒kema॑ te va॒yaM yamaM॑ de॒vasya॑ vA॒jina॑: । ati॒ dveSAM॑si tarema ॥ agne zakema te vayaM yamaM devasya vAjinaH । ati dveSAMsi tarema ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस॒मि॒ध्यमा॑नो अध्व॒रे॒३॒॑ऽग्निः पा॑व॒क ईड्य॑: । शो॒चिष्के॑श॒स्तमी॑महे ॥ समिध्यमानो अध्वरेऽग्निः पावक ईड्यः । शोचिष्केशस्तमीमहे ॥
We solicit that Agni, who is being kindled at the sacrifice, the purifier, the adorable, whose hair is flame.

sa॒mi॒dhyamA॑no adhva॒re॒3॒॑'gniH pA॑va॒ka IDya॑: । zo॒ciSke॑za॒stamI॑mahe ॥ samidhyamAno adhvare'gniH pAvaka IDyaH । zociSkezastamImahe ॥

Agni, the bright-shining, the immortal, the cleanser with clarified butter, the fitly-involved, the bearer of the oblation in the sacrifice.
