अश्व॒स्यात्र॒ जनि॑मा॒स्य च॒ स्व॑र्द्रु॒हो रि॒षः स॒म्पृच॑: पाहि सू॒रीन् । आ॒मासु॑ पू॒र्षु प॒रो अ॑प्रमृ॒ष्यं नारा॑तयो॒ वि न॑श॒न्नानृ॑तानि ॥ अश्वस्यात्र जनिमास्य च स्वर्द्रुहो रिषः सम्पृचः पाहि सूरीन् । आमासु पूर्षु परो अप्रमृष्यं नारातयो वि नशन्नानृतानि ॥

In him is the birth of the horse, of him is (the origin of) the world; do you, grandson of the (waters), protect the pious worshippers from the malevolence of the oppressor; those who give no offerings, those who practise untruths, attain not the inconceivable deity, whether abiding in the immature or the perfect waters.

स्व आ दमे॑ सु॒दुघा॒ यस्य॑ धे॒नुः स्व॒धां पी॑पाय सु॒भ्वन्न॑मत्ति । सो अ॒पां नपा॑दू॒र्जय॑न्न॒प्स्व१॒॑न्तर्व॑सु॒देया॑य विध॒ते वि भा॑ति ॥ स्व आ दमे सुदुघा यस्य धेनुः स्वधां पीपाय सुभ्वन्नमत्ति । सो अपां नपादूर्जयन्नप्स्वन्तर्वसुदेयाय विधते वि भाति ॥

He, the grandson of the waters, who abides in his own dwelling; of whom is the readily-milked cow; who augments the nectar (of the skies), and (thence) eats the sacrificial food; he, gathering strength in the midst of the waters, shines for the sake of conferring wealth upon his worshipper.

sva A dame॑ su॒dughA॒ yasya॑ dhe॒nuH sva॒dhAM pI॑pAya su॒bhvanna॑matti | so a॒pAM napA॑dU॒rjaya॑nna॒psva1॒॑ntarva॑su॒deyA॑ya vidha॒te vi bhA॑ti || sva A dame sudughA yasya dhenuH svadhAM pIpAya subhvannamatti | so apAM napAdUrjayannapsvantarvasudeyAya vidhate vi bhAti ||

यो अ॒प्स्वा शुचि॑ना॒ दैव्ये॑न ऋ॒तावाज॑स्र उर्वि॒या वि॒भाति॑ । व॒या इद॒न्या भुव॑नान्यस्य॒ प्र जा॑यन्ते वी॒रुध॑श्च प्र॒जाभि॑: ॥ यो अप्स्वा शुचिना दैव्येन ऋतावाजस्र उर्विया विभाति । वया इदन्या भुवनान्यस्य प्र जायन्ते वीरुधश्च प्रजाभिः ॥

All other beings are, as it were, branches of him, who, truthful, eternal, and vast, shines amid the waters with pure and divine (radiance); and the shrubs, with their products, are born (of him).

yo a॒psvA zuci॑nA॒ daivye॑na R॒tAvAja॑sra urvi॒yA vi॒bhAti॑ | va॒yA ida॒nyA bhuva॑nAnyasya॒ pra jA॑yante vI॒rudha॑zca pra॒jAbhi॑: || yo apsvA zucinA daivyena RtAvAjasra urviyA vibhAti | vayA idanyA bhuvanAnyasya pra jAyante vIrudhazca prajAbhiH ||

अ॒पां नपा॒दा ह्यस्था॑दु॒पस्थं॑ जि॒ह्माना॑मू॒र्ध्वो वि॒द्युतं॒ वसा॑नः । तस्य॒ ज्येष्ठं॑ महि॒मानं॒ वह॑न्ती॒र्हिर॑ण्यवर्णा॒: परि॑ यन्ति य॒ह्वीः ॥ अपां नपादा ह्यस्थादुपस्थं जिह्मानामूर्ध्वो विद्युतं वसानः । तस्य ज्येष्ठं महिमानं वहन्तीर्हिरण्यवर्णाः परि यन्ति यह्वीः ॥

The grandson of the waters has ascended the firmament above (the region) of the tortuously-moving (clouds), arrayed in lightning; the broad and golden-coloured (rivers) spread around, bearing (to all quarters) his exceeding glory.

a॒pAM napA॒dA hyasthA॑du॒pasthaM॑ ji॒hmAnA॑mU॒rdhvo vi॒dyutaM॒ vasA॑naH | tasya॒ jyeSThaM॑ mahi॒mAnaM॒ vaha॑ntI॒rhira॑NyavarNA॒: pari॑ yanti ya॒hvIH || apAM napAdA hyasthAdupasthaM jihmAnAmUrdhvo vidyutaM vasAnaH | tasya jyeSThaM mahimAnaM vahantIrhiraNyavarNAH pari yanti yahvIH ||

हिर॑ण्यरूप॒: स हिर॑ण्यसंदृग॒पां नपा॒त्सेदु॒ हिर॑ण्यवर्णः । हि॒र॒ण्यया॒त्परि॒ योने॑र्नि॒षद्या॑ हिरण्य॒दा द॑द॒त्यन्न॑मस्मै ॥ हिरण्यरूपः स हिरण्यसंदृगपां नपात्सेदु हिरण्यवर्णः । हिरण्ययात्परि योनेर्निषद्या हिरण्यदा ददत्यन्नमस्मै ॥

The grandson of the waters is of olden form, of golden aspect, of golden hue, and (shines) seated upon a seat of gold; the givers of gold (at solemn rites) present to him (sacrificial) food.
