आ या॑हि॒ वन॑सा स॒ह गाव॑: सचन्त वर्त॒निं यदूध॑भिः ॥ आ याहि वनसा सह गावः सचन्त वर्तनिं यदूधभिः ॥
Come, (Uṣas), with the desirable (radiance); let the cows who are of full udders accompany your chariot.
english translation
आ या॑हि॒ वस्व्या॑ धि॒या मंहि॑ष्ठो जार॒यन्म॑खः सु॒दानु॑भिः ॥ आ याहि वस्व्या धिया मंहिष्ठो जारयन्मखः सुदानुभिः ॥
Come, (Uṣas), with kindly thoughts; (it is the season) most honoured by the genitive rous, and which brings the sacrifice to completion.
english translation
पि॒तु॒भृतो॒ न तन्तु॒मित्सु॒दान॑व॒: प्रति॑ दध्मो॒ यजा॑मसि ॥ पितुभृतो न तन्तुमित्सुदानवः प्रति दध्मो यजामसि ॥
Like bearers of food, liberal in our gifts, we spread the thread (of sacrifice before the dawn), and worship (her).
english translation
उ॒षा अप॒ स्वसु॒स्तम॒: सं व॑र्तयति वर्त॒निं सु॑जा॒तता॑ ॥ उषा अप स्वसुस्तमः सं वर्तयति वर्तनिं सुजातता ॥
Uṣas drives away the darkness of her sister (night); her genitive rative benevolence (harnesses) her chariot.
