क्री॒ळं व॒: शर्धो॒ मारु॑तमन॒र्वाणं॑ रथे॒शुभ॑म् । कण्वा॑ अ॒भि प्र गा॑यत ॥ क्रीळं वः शर्धो मारुतमनर्वाणं रथेशुभम् । कण्वा अभि प्र गायत ॥
Celebrate, Kaṇvas, the aggregate strength of the Maruts, sportive, with horses, but shining in their car.
english translation
ये पृष॑तीभिॠ॒ष्टिभि॑: सा॒कं वाशी॑भिर॒ञ्जिभि॑: । अजा॑यन्त॒ स्वभा॑नवः ॥ ये पृषतीभिॠष्टिभिः साकं वाशीभिरञ्जिभिः । अजायन्त स्वभानवः ॥
Who, borne by spotted deer, were born self-radiant, with weapons, war-cries and decorations.
english translation
इ॒हेव॑ शृण्व एषां॒ कशा॒ हस्ते॑षु॒ यद्वदा॑न् । नि याम॑ञ्चि॒त्रमृ॑ञ्जते ॥ इहेव शृण्व एषां कशा हस्तेषु यद्वदान् । नि यामञ्चित्रमृञ्जते ॥
I hear the craking of the whips in their hands, wonderfully inspiring (courage) in the fight.

प्र व॒: शर्धा॑य॒ घृष्व॑ये त्वे॒षद्यु॑म्नाय शु॒ष्मिणे॑ । दे॒वत्तं॒ ब्रह्म॑ गायत ॥ प्र वः शर्धाय घृष्वये त्वेषद्युम्नाय शुष्मिणे । देवत्तं ब्रह्म गायत ॥
Address the god-given prayer to those who are your strength, the destroyers of foes, the powerful, possessed of brilliant reputation.
english translation
प्र शं॑सा॒ गोष्वघ्न्यं॑ क्री॒ळं यच्छर्धो॒ मारु॑तम् । जम्भे॒ रस॑स्य वावृधे ॥ प्र शंसा गोष्वघ्न्यं क्रीळं यच्छर्धो मारुतम् । जम्भे रसस्य वावृधे ॥
Praise the sportive and unresisted might of the Maruts, who were born amongst kine, and whose strength has been nourished by (the enjoyment of) the milk.
