त्वे पि॑तो म॒हानां॑ दे॒वानां॒ मनो॑ हि॒तम् । अका॑रि॒ चारु॑ के॒तुना॒ तवाहि॒मव॑सावधीत् ॥ त्वे पितो महानां देवानां मनो हितम् । अकारि चारु केतुना तवाहिमवसावधीत् ॥
The thoughts of the mighty gods are fixed, Pitā, upon you; by your kind and intelligent assistance, (Indra) slew Ahi.
english translation
यद॒दो पि॑तो॒ अज॑गन्वि॒वस्व॒ पर्व॑तानाम् । अत्रा॑ चिन्नो मधो पि॒तोऽरं॑ भ॒क्षाय॑ गम्याः ॥ यददो पितो अजगन्विवस्व पर्वतानाम् । अत्रा चिन्नो मधो पितोऽरं भक्षाय गम्याः ॥
When, Pitā, this (product) of the water-wealthy clouds, (the rain), arrives; then do you, sweet Pitā, be at hand with sufficiency for our eating.
english translation
यद॒पामोष॑धीनां परिं॒शमा॑रि॒शाम॑हे । वाता॑पे॒ पीव॒ इद्भ॑व ॥ यदपामोषधीनां परिंशमारिशामहे । वातापे पीव इद्भव ॥
And since we enjoy the abundance of the waters and the plural nts; therefore, Body, do you grow fat.
english translation
यत्ते॑ सोम॒ गवा॑शिरो॒ यवा॑शिरो॒ भजा॑महे । वाता॑पे॒ पीव॒ इद्भ॑व ॥ यत्ते सोम गवाशिरो यवाशिरो भजामहे । वातापे पीव इद्भव ॥
And since we enjoy, Soma, your mixture with boiled milk or boiled barley; therefore, Body, do you grow fat.
english translation
क॒र॒म्भ ओ॑षधे भव॒ पीवो॑ वृ॒क्क उ॑दार॒थिः । वाता॑पे॒ पीव॒ इद्भ॑व ॥ करम्भ ओषधे भव पीवो वृक्क उदारथिः । वातापे पीव इद्भव ॥
Vegetable cake of fried meal, do you be substantial, wholesome, and invigorating; and, Body, do you grow fat.
