स्ती॒र्णं ब॒र्हिरुप॑ नो याहि वी॒तये॑ स॒हस्रे॑ण नि॒युता॑ नियुत्वते श॒तिनी॑भिर्नियुत्वते । तुभ्यं॒ हि पू॒र्वपी॑तये दे॒वा दे॒वाय॑ येमि॒रे । प्र ते॑ सु॒तासो॒ मधु॑मन्तो अस्थिर॒न्मदा॑य॒ क्रत्वे॑ अस्थिरन् ॥ स्तीर्णं बर्हिरुप नो याहि वीतये सहस्रेण नियुता नियुत्वते शतिनीभिर्नियुत्वते । तुभ्यं हि पूर्वपीतये देवा देवाय येमिरे । प्र ते सुतासो मधुमन्तो अस्थिरन्मदाय क्रत्वे अस्थिरन् ॥

Approach our strewngrass, Vāyu, with (your) thousand steeds, to partake of the (offered) food, (prepared) for the lord of the steeds; (approach) with hundreds (to the sacrifice prepared) for thelord of the steeds; the gods holdback for you as the deity (entitled) first to drink (Soma); the sweet effused (Soma) are ready for your exhilaration; are redy for their function.

stI॒rNaM ba॒rhirupa॑ no yAhi vI॒taye॑ sa॒hasre॑Na ni॒yutA॑ niyutvate za॒tinI॑bhirniyutvate | tubhyaM॒ hi pU॒rvapI॑taye de॒vA de॒vAya॑ yemi॒re | pra te॑ su॒tAso॒ madhu॑manto asthira॒nmadA॑ya॒ kratve॑ asthiran || stIrNaM barhirupa no yAhi vItaye sahasreNa niyutA niyutvate zatinIbhirniyutvate | tubhyaM hi pUrvapItaye devA devAya yemire | pra te sutAso madhumanto asthiranmadAya kratve asthiran ||
