अ॒ग्निना॒ग्निः समि॑ध्यते क॒विर्गृ॒हप॑ति॒र्युवा॑ । ह॒व्य॒वाड्जु॒ह्वा॑स्यः ॥ अग्निनाग्निः समिध्यते कविर्गृहपतिर्युवा । हव्यवाड्जुह्वास्यः ॥
Agni, the ever young and wise, the guardian of the dwelling (of the sacrificer), the bearer of offerings, whose mouth is (the vehicle) of oblations, is kindled by Agni.
english translation
a॒gninA॒gniH sami॑dhyate ka॒virgR॒hapa॑ti॒ryuvA॑ । ha॒vya॒vADju॒hvA॑syaH ॥ agninAgniH samidhyate kavirgRhapatiryuvA । havyavADjuhvAsyaH ॥

Praise in the sacrifice, Agni, be the protector of that offerr of oblations who worships you, the messenger of the gods.

ka॒vima॒gnimupa॑ stuhi sa॒tyadha॑rmANamadhva॒re । de॒vama॑mIva॒cAta॑nam ॥ kavimagnimupa stuhi satyadharmANamadhvare । devamamIvacAtanam ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्त्वाम॑ग्ने ह॒विष्प॑तिर्दू॒तं दे॑व सप॒र्यति॑ । तस्य॑ स्म प्रावि॒ता भ॑व ॥ यस्त्वामग्ने हविष्पतिर्दूतं देव सपर्यति । तस्य स्म प्राविता भव ॥
Resplendent Agni, be the protector of that offerr of oblations who worships you, the messenger of the gods.

yastvAma॑gne ha॒viSpa॑tirdU॒taM de॑va sapa॒ryati॑ । tasya॑ sma prAvi॒tA bha॑va ॥ yastvAmagne haviSpatirdUtaM deva saparyati । tasya sma prAvitA bhava ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयो अ॒ग्निं दे॒ववी॑तये ह॒विष्माँ॑ आ॒विवा॑सति । तस्मै॑ पावक मृळय ॥ यो अग्निं देववीतये हविष्माँ आविवासति । तस्मै पावक मृळय ॥
Be propitious, Pāvaka, to him, who, presenting oblations for the gratification of the celestials, approaches Agni.

Agni, the bright, the purifier, bring hither the gods to our sacrifice, to our oblations.
