इन्द्रं॒ कुत्सो॑ वृत्र॒हणं॒ शची॒पतिं॑ का॒टे निबा॑ळ्ह॒ ऋषि॑रह्वदू॒तये॑ । रथं॒ न दु॒र्गाद्व॑सवः सुदानवो॒ विश्व॑स्मान्नो॒ अंह॑सो॒ निष्पि॑पर्तन ॥ इन्द्रं कुत्सो वृत्रहणं शचीपतिं काटे निबाळ्ह ऋषिरह्वदूतये । रथं न दुर्गाद्वसवः सुदानवो विश्वस्मान्नो अंहसो निष्पिपर्तन ॥

Kutsa, the ṛṣi, thrown into a well, has invoked to his succour, Indra, the slayer of enemies, the encourager of good works; may they, who are bountiful and the givers of dwellings, extricate us from all sin, as a chariot from a defile.

दे॒वैर्नो॑ दे॒व्यदि॑ति॒र्नि पा॑तु दे॒वस्त्रा॒ता त्रा॑यता॒मप्र॑युच्छन् । तन्नो॑ मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो मामहन्ता॒मदि॑ति॒: सिन्धु॑: पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौः ॥ देवैर्नो देव्यदितिर्नि पातु देवस्त्राता त्रायतामप्रयुच्छन् । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥

May the goddess, Aditi, with the gods, protect us, and may the radiant guardian, (the sun), be vigilant fo rour protection; and may they, who are bountiful and the givers of dwellings, extricate us from all sin, as a chariot from a defile.
