प्राप्स्यामि तपसा काममिति कृत्वा ऽध्यवस्य च । आगच्छदात्मसिद्ध्यर्थं गोकर्णस्याश्रमं शुभम् ॥ 7-9-47 ॥
Having determined and resolved, "I shall attain my desire through austerity," he came, for the sake of his own perfection, to the auspicious hermitage of Gokarna.
