सम्प्रत्यनाथो विषय इक्ष्वाकूणां महात्मनाम् । रामं नाथमिहासाद्य बालान्तकरणं ध्रुवम् ॥ 7-73-15 ॥
Now the realm of the great-souled Ikshvakus is left without a protector, since here, having Rama for its lord, it has surely become a destroyer of children.
