सुमालेर्नर्दतस्तस्य शिरो ज्वलितकुण्डलम् । चिच्छेद यन्तुरश्वाश्च भ्रान्तास्तस्य तु रक्षसः ॥ 7-7-29 ॥
As Sumali bellowed thus, Hari severed his head with its blazing earrings, and the charioteer and horses of that rakshasa were thrown into confusion.
