एष तूशनसा मुक्तः शापोत्सर्गो ययातिना । धारितः क्षत्रधर्मेण यन्निमिश्च न चक्षमे ॥ 7-59-21 ॥

This release of the curse was pronounced by Ushanas (Shukra), and it was upheld by Yayati through the law of the Kshatriyas — a curse which Nimi too did not endure.

english translation

एतत्ते सर्वमाख्यातं दर्शनं सर्वकारिणाम् । अनुवर्तामहे सौम्य दोषो न स्याद्यथा नृगे ॥ 7-59-22 ॥

All this has been related to you, the teaching of those who accomplish all things; we follow it, gentle one, so that no fault may befall us as it did Nriga.

english translation

इति कथयति रामे चन्द्रतुल्यानने च प्रविरलतरतारं व्योम जज्ञे तदानीम् । अरुणकिरणरक्ता दिग्बभौ चैव पूर्वा कुसुमरसविमुक्तं वस्त्रमाकुण्ठितेव ॥ 7-59-23 ॥

As Rama, whose face was like the moon, was speaking thus, the sky at that moment grew sparse with its scattered stars, and the eastern quarter shone reddened by the rays of dawn, like a garment dulled and drained of the juice of its flowers.
