स कीर्यमाणः कुसुमाक्षतोत्करैर्द्विजैः सपौरैः पुरुहूतसन्निभः । तदा ऽर्जुनः सम्प्रविवेश तां पुरीं बलिं निगृह्येव सहस्रलोचनः ॥ 7-32-73 ॥
Showered with handfuls of flowers and unbroken rice-grains by the Brahmins together with the citizens, Arjuna, resembling Indra, then entered that city, like the thousand-eyed Indra after he had bound Bali.
