चः श्रुत्वा मन्त्रिणो ऽथार्जुनस्य ते । यः क्षीबं स्त्रीवृतं चैव योद्धुमुत्सहते नृपम् । स्त्रीसमक्षं कथं यत्तद्योद्धुमुत्सहसे ऽर्जुनम् । वाशितामध्यगं मत्तं शार्दूल इव कुञ्जरम् ॥ 7-32-29 ॥
Whoever would venture to do battle with a king who is intoxicated and encircled by women—how is it that you wish thus to fight Arjuna in the very presence of those women, like a tiger an elephant standing amid its cow-elephants in rut?
