आरग्वधैस्तमालैश्च प्रियालवकुलैरपि । एतैरन्यैश्च तरुभिरुद्भासितवनान्तरे । किन्नरा मदनेनार्ता रक्ता मधुरकण्ठिनः ॥ 7-26-6 ॥
With aragvadha and tamala trees, with priyala and bakula as well, and with these and other trees the interior of the forest was made resplendent; there the kinnaras, afflicted by love and impassioned, sang with sweet throats.
english translation
समं सम्प्रजगुर्यत्र मनस्तुष्टिविवर्धनम् ॥ 7-26-7 ॥
There they sang together in harmony, in a manner that increased the delight of the mind.

भिरुद्भासितवनान्तरे । विद्याधरा मदक्षीबा मदरक्तान्तलोचनाः । योषिद्भिः सह सङ्क्रान्ताश्चिक्रीडुर्जहृषुश्च वै ॥ 7-26-8 ॥
In the forest interior thus made resplendent by trees, the vidyadharas, intoxicated with drink and with the corners of their eyes reddened by wine, sported together with women and made merry.

घण्टानामिव सन्नादः शुश्रुवे मधुरस्वरः । अप्सरोगणसङ्घानां गायतां धनदालये ॥ 7-26-9 ॥
Like the resounding of bells, a sweet-toned sound was heard there, the singing of the throngs of bands of apsarasas in the abode of the Wealth-giver (Kubera).

पुष्पवर्षाणि मुञ्चन्तो नगाः पवनताडिताः । शैलं तं वासयन्तीव मधुमाधवगन्धिनः ॥ 7-26-10 ॥
The trees, shaken by the wind and shedding showers of blossoms, fragrant with the scent of honey-wine and of the madhavi creeper, seemed as if to perfume that mountain.
