विश्रम त्वं पृथुश्रोणि शिलातलमिदं शुभम् ॥ 7-26-26 ॥
Rest yourself here, O broad-hipped one, upon this auspicious slab of rock.
english translation
त्रैलोक्ये यः प्रभुश्चैव मदन्यो नैव विद्यते ॥ 7-26-27 ॥
In all the three worlds there exists no lord other than me.

तदेवं प्राञ्जलिः प्रह्वो याचते त्वां दशाननः । भर्तुर्भर्ता विधाता च त्रैलोक्यस्य भजस्व माम् ॥ 7-26-28 ॥
Therefore thus, with joined palms and bowed low, does Ravana of the ten faces entreat you: I am lord of lords and ordainer of the three worlds—accept me!"

एवमुक्ता ऽब्रवीद्रम्भा वेपमाना कृताञ्जलिः । प्रसीद नार्हसे वक्तुमीदृशं त्वं हि मे गुरुः ॥ 7-26-29 ॥
Addressed thus, Rambha, trembling and with hands folded in supplication, replied: "Be gracious; it is not fitting that you speak to me in this way, for you are indeed an elder to me.

अन्येभ्यो हि त्वया रक्ष्या प्राप्नुयां धर्षणं यदि । तद्धर्मतः स्नुषा ते ऽहं तत्त्वमेव ब्रवीमि ते ॥ 7-26-30 ॥
I ought to be protected by you from others; were I to suffer violation at your hands, then by dharma I am your daughter-in-law—this very truth I tell you."
