समीक्ष्य स्वबलं सङ्ख्ये वरुणस्य सुतास्तदा । अर्दिताः शरजालेन निवृत्ता रणकर्मणः ॥ 7-23-32 ॥
Then, surveying their own force in the battle, the sons of Varuna, tormented by the net of arrows, withdrew from the work of war.
