नारायणो मम पतिर्न त्वन्यः पुरुषोत्तमात् । आश्रये नियमं घोरं नारायणपरीप्सया । विज्ञातस्त्वं हि मे राजन्गच्छ पौलस्त्यनन्दन ॥ 7-17-18 ॥
Narayana is my husband, and none other than that Supreme Person; I undertake this terrible discipline out of the longing to win Narayana. You are indeed known to me, O king; go your way, O delight of Pulastya's line.
