सखे शृणुष्व सुग्रीव न त्वया ऽहं विनाकृतः । गच्छेयं देवलोकं वा परमं वा पदं महत् ॥ 7-108-26 ॥

"Listen, O friend Sugriva: I am not to be parted from you. Whether I go to the world of the gods, or to that supreme and lofty abode, you shall be with me."

english translation

बिभीषणमथोवाच राक्षसेन्द्रं महायशाः । यावत्प्रजा धरिष्यन्ति तावत्त्वं वै बिभीषण । राक्षसेन्द्र महावीर्य लङ्कास्थस्त्वं धरिष्यसि ॥ 7-108-27 ॥

Then the greatly renowned one spoke to Vibhishana, the lord of the rakshasas: "As long as living beings shall endure, so long shall you endure, O Vibhishana; O lord of the rakshasas of mighty valor, you shall remain dwelling in Lanka."

english translation

यावच्चन्द्रश्च सूर्यश्च यावत्तिष्ठति मेदिनी । यावच्च मत्कथा लोके तावद्राज्यं तवास्त्विह ॥ 7-108-28 ॥

"As long as the moon and the sun exist, as long as the earth abides, and as long as my story endures in the world, so long may your sovereignty here continue."

english translation

शासितस्त्वं सखित्वेन कार्यं ते मम शासनम् । प्रजाः संरक्ष धर्मेण नोत्तरं वक्तुमर्हसि ॥ 7-108-29 ॥

You are instructed by Me in friendship; My command must be carried out by you. Protect the subjects in accordance with dharma, and you ought not to make any reply to the contrary.

किञ्चान्यद्वक्तुमिच्छामि राक्षसेन्द्र महामते ॥ 7-108-30 ॥

And there is yet another thing I wish to say to you, O lord of the Rakshasas, O greatly wise one.
