तासामनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात् ॥४-१०॥
Becasue of the continuity of the will to survive, those lustful latent impressions are also going from eternal time.

जिजीविषा अर्थात जीवित रहने की इच्छा की सतत विद्यमानता होने से उन वासना रूपी संस्कारों का प्रवाह आदिकाल से ही निरन्तर चलता रहता है ।
