पर्यायशः पार्श्वगतं शिरः स्यात् परिवाहितम् । आधूतमुच्यते तिर्यक् सकृदुद्वाहितं तु यत् ॥ २६॥

Parivāhita and Udvāhita: When the head is alternately turned to the two sides it is called Parivāhita, and when it is once turned upwards it is known as Udvāhita.
english translation
paryAyazaH pArzvagataM ziraH syAt parivAhitam | AdhUtamucyate tiryak sakRdudvAhitaM tu yat || 26||

Avadhuta: When the head is lowered once after turning it up it is called Avadhuta. (Uses): It is to be applied in [communicating] a message, invoking [a deity], conversation and beckoning [one to come near].
