आदौ द्वे च चतुर्थं चाप्यष्टमैकादशे तथा । गुर्वक्षराणि जानीयत्पादे ह्येकादशे तथा ॥ ५९॥
"In the beginning, the second, fourth, eighth, and eleventh (positions) should be understood, and likewise, the first of the syllables in the teacher's (chant) is to be understood in the eleventh position as well."
