देवस्तुष्यन्ति यो येन यस्य यन्मनसः प्रियम् । तत्तथा पूर्वरङ्गे तु मया प्रोकं द्विजोत्तमाः ॥ ५४॥

sanskrit

"The deities are pleased by whatever is dear to the heart of the individual. This is what I have stated earlier in the preliminary stage, O best of the Brahmins."

english translation

devastuSyanti yo yena yasya yanmanasaH priyam । tattathA pUrvaraGge tu mayA prokaM dvijottamAH ॥ 54॥
