परिघट्टनया तुष्टा युक्तायां राक्षसां गणाः । सङ्घोटनक्रियायां च तुष्यन्त्यपि च गुह्यकाः ॥ ४६॥

"By the action of the percussive sound, the groups of demons are pleased. They are also pleased during the collective activity and by the secret practices."

english translation

parighaTTanayA tuSTA yuktAyAM rAkSasAM gaNAH | saGghoTanakriyAyAM ca tuSyantyapi ca guhyakAH || 46||

मार्गासारितमासाद्य तुष्टा यक्षा भवन्ति हि । गीतकेषु प्रयुक्तेषु देवास्तुष्यन्ति नित्यशः ॥४७॥

sanskrit

"After reaching the proper path, the Yakshas become pleased. The gods are always pleased by the songs that are performed."

english translation

mArgAsAritamAsAdya tuSTA yakSA bhavanti hi | gItakeSu prayukteSu devAstuSyanti nityazaH ||47||

वर्धमाने प्रयुक्ते तु रुद्रस्तुष्यति सानुगः । तथा चोत्थापने युक्ते ब्रह्मा तुष्टो भवेदिह ॥ ४८॥

sanskrit

"When the process is being performed and progressing, Rudra, along with his followers, becomes pleased. Similarly, when the proper method of elevation is followed, Brahma is pleased here."

english translation

vardhamAne prayukte tu rudrastuSyati sAnugaH | tathA cotthApane yukte brahmA tuSTo bhavediha || 48||

तुष्यन्ति लोकपालाश्च प्रयुक्ते परिवर्तने । नान्दीप्रयोगेऽथ कृते प्रीतो भवति चन्द्रमाः ॥ ४९॥

"When the change or transformation is performed, the guardians of the worlds are pleased. Similarly, when the Nandi ceremony is carried out, the moon becomes pleased."

english translation

tuSyanti lokapAlAzca prayukte parivartane | nAndIprayoge'tha kRte prIto bhavati candramAH || 49||

युक्तायामवकृष्टायां प्रीता नागा भवन्ति हि । तथा शुष्कावकृष्टायां प्रीतः पितृगणो भवेत् ॥५०॥

sanskrit

"When the procedure is properly performed, the Nagas (serpent beings) are pleased. Similarly, when the dry invocation is performed, the ancestors (Pitrs) are pleased."

yuktAyAmavakRSTAyAM prItA nAgA bhavanti hi | tathA zuSkAvakRSTAyAM prItaH pitRgaNo bhavet ||50||
