निर्गीतं गेयते यस्मादपदं वर्णयोजनात् । असूयया च देवानां बहिर्गीतमिदं स्मृतम् ॥४३॥
"The song that is sung from a place of resentment, arising from the arrangement of words and syllables, is remembered as the external song, born from the envy of the gods."
english translation
nirgItaM geyate yasmAdapadaM varNayojanAt । asUyayA ca devAnAM bahirgItamidaM smRtam ॥43॥
