ब्रह्मोत्तरं तथैवास्तु हता ब्रह्मद्विषस्तथा । प्रशास्त्विमां महाराजः पृथिवीं च ससागराम् ॥ १०६॥

May Brahma be exalted, and may those who are inimical to Brahma be destroyed. May this great king rule over the earth, along with the seas.

brahmottaraM tathaivAstu hatA brahmadviSastathA | prazAstvimAM mahArAjaH pRthivIM ca sasAgarAm || 106||

राष्ट्रं प्रवर्धतां चैव रङ्गस्याशा समृद्ध्यतु । प्रेक्षाकर्तुर्महान्धर्मो भवतु ब्रह्मभाषितः ॥ १०७॥

May the kingdom prosper, and may the hope of the stage be fulfilled. May the great Dharma of the spectator, as spoken by Brahma, be realized.

rASTraM pravardhatAM caiva raGgasyAzA samRddhyatu | prekSAkarturmahAndharmo bhavatu brahmabhASitaH || 107||

काव्यकर्तुर्यशश्चास्तु धर्मश्चापि प्रवर्धताम् । इज्यया चानया नित्यं प्रीयन्तां देवता इति ॥ १०८॥

May the fame of the poet increase, and may his virtue also grow. And may the deities always be pleased with this worship.

kAvyakarturyazazcAstu dharmazcApi pravardhatAm | ijyayA cAnayA nityaM prIyantAM devatA iti || 108||

नान्दीपदान्तरेष्वेषु ह्येवमार्येति नित्यशः । वदेतां सम्यगुक्ताभिर्वाग्भिस्तौ पारिपार्श्विकौ ॥ १०९॥

During these intervals of offering the Nandi, these two attendants should always speak with proper words, saying, 'Thus, O Noble One!'.

एवं नान्दी विधातव्या यथावल्लक्षणान्विता । ततश्शुष्कावकृष्टा स्याज्जर्जरश्लोकदर्शिका ॥ ११०॥

Thus, the introduction should be composed, endowed with the proper characteristics. Then the dry and drawn-out verses should be presented, resembling a withered tree.
